HUMANE EDUCATION PROGRAM
E-mail us at info@princessbuttercupfoundation.org for us to present to your students!

Picture
Our Humane Education Program is very flexible when it comes to topics you'd like for us to discuss with your group. Depending on the amount of volunteers we have available, our schedules can be very flexible, too! Below you can choose between a Humane Presentation or Humane Classes; and even the topics you'd like for us to discuss!

_Humane Presentations:

_Our Humane Presentations are usually a once a year presentation in front of a small group of kids all the way up to 50-100 kids at a time. We prefer to keep groups as small as possible to be able to reach out more successfully and connect the kids better to our message of being kind to animals and knowing how to interact with them safety. However, we are always willing to accommodate interested schools, churches, or other groups to the best of our ability. We want to work with you and your students and make this the best experience for everyone!
  • One 1-hour Presentation includes the following topics discussed: Animal Care, Animal Kindness, Dog Safety, Basic information on Wild Animals, Animal Body Language, Animal Cruelty, and Animal Adoption.
  • We provide educational handouts to the children that can be reviewed by the teachers, parents, and/or on the child's own.
  • Presentations will be tweaked to accommodate particular age groups.
  • At this time we do not provide Humane Presentations to anyone below 2nd grade.

_Humane Classes:

_Our Humane Classes are very flexible when it comes to topics discussed! Again, we prefer to keep groups as small as possible for each child to have involvement in our classes. Typically, for Humane Classes 25 kids (classroom size) is ideal. But, we are willing to work with you and make your Humane Classes the best experience ever! Humane Classes differ from the Humane Presentations because our classes are more detailed and thorough. We make our classes fun, by doing educational arts and crafts, lectures, puppet shows, group work, student projects, movies, and of course... a few short memory quizzes all while relating it to mathematics, science, English, and history! We will come out once a month for the entire school year and give the students a 35-45 minute class. This program can be tweaked to your needs and schedule.
  • Topics available to be discussed: Animal Care, Animal Kindness, Dog Safety, Basic information on Wild Animals, Animal Body Language, Animal Cruelty, Animal Adoption, Vegetarianism, Ways Kids Can Help the Animals, Animal Discrimination, Basic Animal Laws, and more!
  • We provide educational handouts to the children that can be reviewed by the teachers, parents, and/or on the child's own.
  • Presentations will be tweaked to accommodate particular age groups.
  • At this time we do not provide Humane Classes to anyone below 2nd grade.
