OUR MISSION
_The Princess Buttercup Foundation's ("PBF") mission is to rescue
primarily pit bull type dogs from high-kill animal shelters and abusive
situations and do whatever necessary within reason to prepare them for
adoption. PBF also provides humane education and pit bull education to
the general public.
ABOUT US
The Princess Buttercup Foundation (PBF) is a New Jersey non-profit
corporation formed in October 2010 by Valerie Paster. She decided it was
time for some change for a particular misunderstood type of dog... the
"pit bull". While PBF would never turn away a dog based on their breed,
appearance, health, or age, our main focus is to rescue, re-home, and
promote "pit bull" type dogs. PBF also holds a firm belief on providing
humane education classes on animal kindness, care, and safety to
children and teens.
PBF is a very small, all volunteer-based organization. PBF can only accommodate a few dogs at a time due to lack of available foster homes and funds. We next to never take owner surrenders and instead focus our attention on pulling dogs off of death row at high-kill animal shelters who normally wouldn't stand a chance.
